What does your Italian American Heritage mean to you?

Judge D’Alessio attributes her work ethic to her Italian heritage and examples set by her family to work hard and be kind. Her favorite dish to cook is chicken alla mamma (her go to weekly dish she cooks in one pot named by her children). She looks forward to jarring tomato sauce every summer and preparing the feast of the seven fishes on Christmas Eve to preserve the traditions to pass down to the next generation. Judge D’Alessio also sets up a very large indoor nativity a tradition passed down to her known as the “presepio” during the holidays.
